WHAT IS A PERFORMANCE VALVE?
Valves play a critical role in any performance orientated engine. Upgrading the valves in your VW or Audi engine increases reliability with slow forging processes, upgraded aerospace alloys, CNC machining, and heat treatments to withstand extreme abuse from high-powered race engines and daily driven road vehicles making beyond factory power levels. The power an engine produces is limited to airflow. As the smallest chokepoint in your cylinder head, performance valves are engineered to increase airflow by limiting turbulence created by valve stem obstruction and careful detailing of the valve head and valve angles.

INCLUDED SINGLE GROOVE VALVE KEEPERS
Supertech's R32 VR6 valves feature "radial-style” single groove on the valve stem and require matching single groove valve keepers. Single groove valves are preferred for performance orientated and race engines as the top part of the groove provides a cushion for the lock and aids in valve stem protection against uncontrolled and excessive valve movement. In addition, the single groove design greatly extends valve stem life by restricting rotation of the valve preventing accelerated wear by excess movement caused by the factory triple groove design. VALVE STEM SEALS
Match your performance valves to a set of Supertech Valve Stem Seals. Manufactured from heat resistant Viton for use with the exhaust valves and high-quality polyacrylic for intake valves. These superior quality materials ensure longer valve seal life on higher output engines producing beyond stock power levels.
INCONEL VALVES (EXHAUST)
Supertech's Inconel exhaust valves are manufactured from a nickel-based alloy material providing incredible temperature distribution that lowers temperatures across the entire cylinder head. Iconel valves are perfect for engines that reach very high exhaust gas temperatures from large frame turbo engines found in both street and race applications.

Safely increase your powerband and rev higher by upgrading your valve springs and retainers, a must for anyone looking to rev out past 7500rpm. Performance valve springs feature higher spring rates reducing the chance of valve float and engine damage at higher RPM. Titanium retainers reduce mass allowing the valve train to rev higher, faster. The use of titanium provides an adequate fatigue life to be acceptable for all but the highest mileage street use. Supertech's 3.2L VR6 spring kit is rated for use in engines up to 8300-8500rpm.
All Supertech valve springs are made with premium Superclean Chrome Silicon Vanadium Steel alloy for higher performance & durability at high rpm. Using high-quality steel alloy also provides the added benefit of a better structural memory of the spring. The valve springs are computer designed to ensure that wire stress levels do not overpass the limits of stress defined in the diagrams of fatigue. This software also allows Supertech to ensure that the harmonics are under control, this advanced technology is combined with high-quality steel alloy making Supertech valve springs more durable in extreme conditions.
